About This PBSP Training
It can be difficult to manage and mitigate negative emotions and behaviour. This can be more challenging when you have to manage other’s emotional needs whilst maintaining your own emotions.
When there are displays of challenging behaviour, it is crucial that the environment is safe and enjoyable for all, especially for those in distress.
This training looks into Positive Behaviour Support Plan (PBSP) and how to implement positive behaviour to support your participants. This include topics on various mental health diagnoses, possible triggers which you may encounter and how to use the appropriate strategies to identify triggers.
Additionally, this training will guide you on how to implement the interventions to manage these behaviours effectively. This ensures you provide the best possible care to your participants and the viability of your business is maintained.
Complaints about your service being neglectful or abusive can cost your NDIS registration. Don’t risk your participants, business and reputation.
Who Is This Training For?
This training is intended for all allied health practitioners, NDIS providers, schools, disability employment and those in the health industry.
Learning how to reinforce positive behaviour is extremely beneficial in order to provide the best care and support to participants.
